VCD on Sony blu-ray player issues

Have a 2-disc VCD of Bugs Bunny's greatest toons and it will not play on the Sony blu-ray S550 player. Put the disc in my wife's laptop and it played fine so we watched it but what i am doing wrong with the Sony?? Not very bright in the blu-ray/dvd/vcd area at all:redface:

    Check the manual and see if the player supports that format.

    Well, when i insert the disc the menu comes up with VCD as an option but when clicked it comes back as "No Photo"...

    You did not state the model so I can only guess the codec is not supported. Using your computer convert them to an recognizable format for you player.

    Check Page 63 of your manual: Discs that cannot be played. VCD is one of them. Page 62 has the discs that CAN be played.
