Are These Junk Power Cables?

Volex 17604 14 gauge shielded power cords . . . . fyi, I know next to nothing about power cables. The stock Volex came with "the good" ICE powered EVS 500M amps

Stock is always a bare minimum acceptable standard, like "building code" . . . . I'm ready to throw a couple of hundred into the kitty, maybe more if I'm pleasantly surprised with their performance
How much should I expect to spend on "significantly noticeable improvement" power cords . . .

Brand suggestions?

Background history, I purchased the amps 6 months ago knowing that my non-air conditioned house would be unbearable with the small space heater known as Adcom 5802 (450 watts into 4 ohms). The ICE amps are going to be in full swing this week. 90 degrees all week long!

ps I do have a couple of strategically placed window-shakers to take the edge off. Alas, no competition for the 5802!! That sucker runs HOT!

    Cant help you with the cable ? However in your signiture where you say you need a new cdp.... Put a adcom gda 700 DAC ( modded) in there and you wont need a new cdp! LOL

    The Volex 17604 is a very nice well documented shielded cable. I would look for other places to spend my money.

    The older PS Audio Punch cords are a great value used, and can usually be had for under $50 each.
