Subwoofer connection problem.

I just bought the Polk RM6750 system.
I purchased a subwoofer audio pin cable for the subwoofer as instructed. However, when I plug it into the back of my
receiver yamaha rx-v373, it doesn't go in very far and easily falls out. What is the precise cable I should buy?
Also, where does the other end of the audio pin cable go into on the subwoofer? There appears to "R" and "L".
Should i purchase a splitter? If so, precisely which one?
thanks

I am not familiar with the RM 6750 system, but the subwoofer on most systems use a standard RCA connector and cable and connect it to the red subwoofer input.Home Theater

I just figured it out. I had to press more firmly to get the cord to fit appropriately. Sounds awesome now!
