Anyone know what percentage of the company he still owns?

If I owned a company I would NEVER let my ownership drop to below a voting majority.

You're right but I think I read he only owns a 3.5 percent stake in the company at this point and was slowly exiting (retiring) anyway. But that they tried to PUSH him out earlier because he couldn't let go fast enough?

I would cash out my remaining shares and go sit on the beach with a cocktail.
