My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I am completely open. I have considered the Adcom 555 in the FM but I've been there done that with Adcom's. A Marsh A200s would be ideal. A Parasound HCA 1500 would be nice

I believe it's sold and for not much more I could do the 1500. I'd rather get one that I don't feel I'll have to upgrade it. I never had the feeling that I'd have to upgrade the Marsh. One of my biggest audio regrets was having to sell the one I had.

If you are interested in going the tube route, I have an AMC CVT-2100as I am considering selling. It uses KT88 or 6550 tubes and is an extrememly nice amp for the money. 80WPC, it will drive most speakers. There is a link below if you are interested:

I have a Carver TFM-45 and a TFM-55. Very nice amps and they've both been serviced fairly recently. The work was done by the previous owners, but I'm pretty sure I have the paperwork.

I have this amp's little brother, the 2030 and I have been heartily impressed with it driving my 15TLs. Solid amp. My only complaint is that the tubes are hidden under the top of the case.

Even though the tube amp has me really thinking I'm probably leaning towards a SS one and get a tubed pre down the road. A tubed integrated would be welcomed. Like I said, I'm not in a huge hurry. I do love me some tubes, though.

Did you ever find anything? I've got a Yamaha M 80 and a NAD 216 THX that could be available. What will you be driving speaker wise?
