Got a meter? If not I'm lost also. Find continuity between 2 set of wires they must be the speakers I would think BLue / BLue and the Black / Black But not a lot of wiring there? Maybe the speakers are ground so be cafeful most radio will blow up if that is the wired that way.

I thought I was the only one that had to have a CD player in my tractor. Not sure what the colors are for but your local JD dealer would help you out I am sure.

PM me your model, year and serial number as there are often running changes. I may be able to look it up in the technical manual if your Operator's manual does not have it. Don't post the serial number on this site. Most are industry standard pinouts.

Well I did try just putting the cd player onto the battery and that powers up, I am thinking I might have a bad ground connection now that I figured out what the power is and the speaker wires are

Polkersince85, That is a sick tractor. Mine is a little older Case/IH with a cab that is used mainly for snow removal and mowing the pasture with a brush hog. Up here you definately want one with a cab for heat and air.

The dealer should have a wiring diagram.

We had a radio mounted on the fender of our '67 JD 2510 right from the dealer. Can you imagine playing the radio on an open platform tractor above the noise generated by baling hay or plowing? You had to play it so loud you could hear it in the next township. You can also imagine it was not used much before being taken off the fender leaving a couple big holes.
