Best book for the Tube DIY beginner?

Looking for a book that's part electronics basics, part project oriented with perhaps a tube bent. So far I've found Bruce Rosenblit's, "Beginner's Guide to Tube Audio Design," and that's about it. Anybody have a better, or similar, recommendation?
It almost has to be written in crayon over here, with very basic electronics being covered first, and then ultimately some basic projects provided. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check www.partsexpress.com
They have several tube books. The best thing to do would be to find a late 60's introductory electronics text book.

There was a lot of tube and electronics theory in the American Radio Relay League's handbook. Of course my copy is 25 years old so I don't know what they have currently.gkellerman@niche-soft.com
