Upgrade to a Csi40 from a Csi30

I have a CSi30 right now. Circuit city cut the price on the Csi40 so it is that exspensive any more. I bought the CSi30 at circuit city so i can do the upgrade policy that they have. Basically i would trade in my CSi30 and may have to pay like 20-30 bucks and i would have a CSi40. IS this worth doing.

System right now:
Reciever - HK AVR225
Front- R50's
Center - Csi 30
Rear - RTi38's
TV - Toshiba 32" flat screen
DVD - SD-3900

Room size: 18 x 12 (est) can't find tape measure.

What do you think i should do?
Is there anything i would have to do differently to hook the CSi40 if i did get it?

Thanks
Yale
System:
Reciever - HK AVR225 - last legs
Front- RTiA9s
Center - CSi40
Rear - RTi38's
Sub – SVS 20-39 PCi

The 40 is a very nice center and for $20-$30 extra I would snap it up in a hurry.

Another vote for upgrading it. Wish I could upgrade for $30. ;)

You don't have to do anything differently wrt hooking it up. A lot of people have found bi-wiring the 40 an inexpensive tweak.

Don't walk..RUN to your nearest CC and snatch one up. They are at an amazing price right now, and won't last long at all. There are basically none in my area now. GO!

Went back to where i saw it and all they had was a OB CSi40 for $169. I am going to go to every circuit city i can find in my area to try and find a new one. Hopefully i will find one somewhere.

I would suggest calling the stores and finding if they have any NIB. You don't want to take to much time searching because they are moving fast.

Stop running all over town. What's wrong with getting the open box for $169? Was it damaged?

My Csi40 is open box and I paid $259 at the time when they were selling for $399. It's the same speaker, same warranty, same trade-in opportunity, same resale value, same sound, better deal.

ya thats what i did. I just went to the circuitcity.com to find out the stores closest to me. Then i started calling. After the second call i found out where it was. The CC employee looked it up for me on the system and located it.

I got the last one in the Dallas area. I had to go to ceder hill a 45 min drive from where i live.

But it is going to be well worth once i get back to school and get to hook it up.

I currently have a CS245I w/ (2) RT600I's up front (2) RT25I's in the rear and a PSW350. I think it all sounds great right now for my needs.
Today I saw an open box CSi40 for $230 at HH Gregg today. would this be a good upgrade up front. Is this a good price.
    Thanks,

I bought a CSi40 from HHGregg over 2 months ago for $175 after tax. I think you should be able to talk them down.

How does the CSI5BK rate, compared to the old CSI40? Seems that all the CC's in my area have already discontinued the 40's.
