Here is a listing I found in my area. I haven't done much research at all to know if it would be worth getting to use for my HT. If anyone can explain these equipment if I could be able to use them too, it would be greatly appreciated!

Currently I have
Receiver: Denon 1912
Speakers:
Fronts: Polk Audio Monitor 70s (x2)
Rears: Polk Audio Monitor 50 (x2)
Center: Polk Audio Monitor 70
KLH Sub GFX-550

Elan Video Controller Z880/881
Elan Pre-Amp Controller Z630/631
Elan Comm Controller Z600/601
Elan Power Amp Z660

I could get all the Elan equipment for $40 or so.
Receiver: Denon 1912
Speakers:
Fronts: Polk Audio Monitor 70s (x2)
Rears: Polk Audio Monitor 50 (x2)
Center: Polk Audio Monitor 70
KLH Sub GFX-550

The Elan system was also meant for more as a whole home video/music/paging "nerve center" if you will.

This^^^^ Elan now owns Sunfire audio also..

From my rusty memory banks, Elan wasn't exactly known for quality either. Aside from that I believe their focus was on whole house distribution and corporate stuff.

    ^^^^Bingo

We would only use the distribution part of Elan as the head end and keypad/controls integrate with better speakers etc

Still not worth the flip imho. In my neck of the woods, people can't give their stuff away. Unless you actually have a use for the gear, pass.
