My brother just bought a new house and is looking for appx. 500 to 600 feet of wire to run through the house. 12 AWG is preferred. We've already priced Blue Jeans and Monoprice.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The best kept secret for in-wall speaker wire is 14/3 plus Ground Romex®(NM). You connect tie Black & Red together and the White & Ground together, then you have an 11AWG speaker wire that's twisted and rated for in-wall use.

I got some from Monoprice which worked well.Panasonic 65" Plasma - Panasonic Blu-ray. Onkyo TX-NR809 RTi A7s fronts - MK CS150s surronds.

I've got 12 speakers to run.

Monoprice is your best bet if you want to keep the cost down. I've used the Monoprice before & 12/2 CL3 rated wire from JSC Wire & Cable. The JSC has a tougher outer jacket & better fill material so that the wire is actually round & not sort of round like the Monoprice stuff. Plus the JSC is made in the USA, pretty sure the Monoprice is not. That said, I see no reason not to go with the Monoprice 12/2. I'm using both in a distributed audio system & hear no difference in that application.

BlueJean speaker cable is Belden speaker cable and if I was building a house that's what I would use hands down.
