Just picked up the TT at my local thrift shop, I know I can't seem to stop buying things old..
This thing is in very good condition cosmetically except for the cover its faded.
Now I've looked online about what kind of setting I need to use on my CR-2020 which has a selector switch for 3 different settings 1-MM,2-MMand MC but online it's says the cart is an Induced Magnet?
So I'm confused as to which setting to use on the 2020.
I don't just want to start switching to see which one works best because (:redface:) I brought over my Technics TT to check it out and I switched the selector and I got a loud POP and reduced volume but when I switched it back it was normal..so I don't want to do that again, lol

    MM=Moving Magnet (or Induced Magnet)
    MC=Moving Cartridge

    1 and 2 could be different input impedances...I can't remember off the top of my head.

    I actually got this one at the other place I go and it cost me double than I paid for the CR-2020 lol
    I don't normally find anything worth picking up, I thought $30 was fair, good shape, cart and needle in good shape too..
