This hobby truly does reward patience.
I understand the desire to buy and listen now. I really do but as you can see here, Newegg has a promo code for $80 off 75Ts.

On the subject of looks, it, like most of this hobby, is subjective.
A lot of things I find beautiful, others may not.

So here is the deal... the only thing that I can do is ship the speakers back and they will ship me the same monitor 70s that aren't broken back because they won't refund or discount any other item...

That sounds like a very fair deal personally. I dont see them discounting a newer model for you and the site does say no refunds.

Personally I would see if they can just send you a new cabinet since the ones you've got are the issue not the drivers. Its pretty simple to switch all that stuff out and might be the easiest solution.

Good deal, I bet the next set will be perfect. Polk cares greatly about their customers satisfaction.
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same.
