Thank you! Sheesh why do you guys go out of your way to find $hit to flip your lids about? We are all going to die sometime and I would bet that our sedentary life styles do more harm than any food. Yet we are living longer than ever!
I don't have the kind of money to get the so called all natural food, which shouldn't be so expensive since it doesn't have anything in it to kill you, so I buy what I can afford to keep food on my table.nooshinjohn wrote: »It's not the food I fear, rather the genetically mutated superbugs our science has given us that are completely immune to even the most advanced drug therapies. Somewhere out there is a strain of flesh eating bacteria that won't be stopped, and unless we stop tinkering with the use of antibiotics that create monster viruses, or create ones that absolutely destroy them completely, I don't thing a little GMO is going to be the science that kills us."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. Man-made manipulation of viruses in order to make them even stronger should simply be illegal, but it does occur.
Ok, that's what I figured you meant. Thanks for clarifying it. Both are definately something to be aware of, with the latter being absolutely devistating to the population in a very very short amount of time. They should be illegal, but we know that's not the case and that they exist and potentially could be used by any number of radical governments in the world. God help us if that is/(or is not) the case........
Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

The sheer amount of antibiotics being pumped into animals is a huge concern. Studies out of Iowa State University have shown that remnants of those products showing up in the soil from cow manure, and then being absorbed into food crops. This is just one way that bacteria is developing strong resistance.Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))

Not all of us live sedentary lifestyles, and while the average life expectancy is still rising, some would like the best quality of life throughout these years.
There are a few that are already very close: http://www.cdc.gov/hai/organisms/vre/vre.html http://www.cdc.gov/mrsa/
I agree with Face. Just because some people don't want to know what they are putting into their bodies doesn't mean all live that way.
My mother who has progressive MS needs to be careful with what she eats and where she buys things. Does living well sometimes cost more? Yes because I'm not buying off the dollar menu at McDonalds.
You can always grow your own food as well and help yourself out that way. It doesn't need to be a huge amount to make a difference either and there are several books about people who rent or live in bigger cities that have developed systems to do this. Just have to be willing to take the time and do it.
