Hi All, I found this forum from a Porsche enthusiast site. Someone there suggested I come here. I have a pair of really nice Polk LS70's that I bought new in the early 90's. They are wood gain veneer and in very good condition. No issues with the outside, no fogging, delamination, etc, grills are perfect and no visible issues from the speakers themselves. The problem is I am moving and my wife doesn't want them in the new house. They were being under-used as surround sound speakers for all these years in connection with a Polk center and rears and a Velodine servo sub. They sound and look great but I'm not sure what they are worth and if they are well regarded. Anyone here have an opinion on their value and saleability? Or convince me I'm crazy to let these go when I move.

Id keep them. They are a nice sounding speaker for both HT and music. What does she want you to replace them with? If she has given you permission to go and get some LSiM's(Polk's newest flagship) I would say go for new, but if the alternative is an acoustimass 321 from Bose???

If the latter is the case, you would be certifiably insane.

Welcome to CP... hang out for a while, as there are a bunch of cool people here to help you get the most from your Polks.
