3 months old. Approxiamately 500 hours on them right now. Will not ship as that would not be cost effective and I can't go low enough on price to make that worthwhile. I am looking to uprade to lsim703 or 9's. thanks for the ad, polk forum!

500 hours in 3 months? Dang... that's 21 days straight in a 90 day period. Did you just turn them on and leave them?

No, I listen to alot of music during the day. Some days there's music being played for 10 hours, somedays none. I know there's at least 400 on them, so i hope my guess of 500 isn't seen as deception.

I have 2 hours in today, give or take 15 minutes. see what i did there?

Nice price for a nice set of speakers. If I were you I'd go straight to the 703s. The only advantage of the LSi-9s is a little more bottom end. Otherwise I prefer the LSi-7s, fewer drivers, fewer problems--in terms of crossovers.

    GLWTS!

thanks for the bumps. the 705's are the perfect speaker for me, i just feel guilty spending that on speakers. i'm a frugal guy. I probably would only try the 9's if i could find a good deal and they seem to be going for bank on ebay lately.

i also have my rtia1 up for sale and will pull these off the market if those sell as my third set (rt25i) are going to be offered to my sister in law the next time she visits.

I'm pretty sure these will be sold at noon today. I will update when it is done but I wanted to let anyone know that might be considering these.
