I love my Blue Jeans cable LC-1 interconnects, but man they are tough to work with. For one, they aren't very flexible. For two, when connected, they stick out quite a bit.

Looking to buy 3 new pairs (1 foot, 4 foot, and maybe 5 foot) and I want to try to keep the cost under $100.

Thanks guys!

LC-1 is my favorite in that price range. Signal Cable is a great option but it will stretch your budget.

100 per set or 100 total?

If 100 total your gonna want to look at things like Audioquest G-Snakes. Might be able to score some Signal Cables at that price. Mention your a club Polk member for a discount.

If under 100 per set then look at things like Kimber Kable PB&J, Audioquest has some stuff, DouglasConnection (helipilotdoug from the forum) also has good stuff.

Personally Signal Cable may be a lateral move for you and you may need to step it up to the under 100 per pair options.

Signal Cable is always a very solid budget pleaser. Frank does a great job.

music direct has sidewinders on sale. I agree with Dragon though, the lc-1 is a good solid cable for the price.

I have an extra set of Evergreens if you just need something for troubleshooting I would happily let you borrow.

Not for troubleshooting, may have a long length issue to solve that requires a VERY long IC run. Wont know for sure till I re-arrange tomorrow, but I was looking at 10+ feet min of IC length to connect the two components.

The longer the interconnects, the harder it is to beat the BlueJeans LC-1's.

Anyone thinking about long interconnects should read some of Bill Whitlock's papers.

    And the two BlueJeans pages:

I am aware of low capacitance of the LC-1's and why thats good. They are also an option for me, I wont go into more detail as I am mucking up this thread.

For most of us, 'low capacitance' is not the important part of the deal. What is important is low end to end resistance of the shield. For those with legacy or tube or boutique equipment, then capacitance can be a big deal.

I have some fairly flexible, coaxial Liberty Cable bulk IC I'd be happy to send you for the cost of shipping of you want to try something new.

I really appreciate all the advice and offers to send over some cables. Just got the 3 pairs of LC-1's so I'm good right now. I got a pair at 1 foot, 3 foot, and 4 foot, for $100.45! How about that for keeping a budget :)
