Polk SDA 1Cs and CS350 For Sale

Like most Polkies, I never believed that I would let my SDA 1Cs go. After all, I drove from Des Moines to Dallas (12 hours) to buy them and planned to take them with me wherever I might move to in the future. Now I am moving to South America and cannot take along anything that does not fit into three checked bags.

    Wow three hours away would these be better than my 2B's if they were given the TL treatment as at $600 is probably what it would cost to TL my 2B's please someone chime in, should I sell my 2B's and get these or mod my 2B's as planed, please respond F1 or some one. I drove to Des Moines last year for some Adcom Gear and heard my first pair of Legacy Towers, and would make the drive if the 1C's would be recommended. Someone, anyone.

    I agree my GFA 555II should power the 1C's just fine. I have heard some people say that TL'ed 2B's are the way to go along with CRS+'s, I own those also maybe sell a pair of CRS+'s then I would own 3 flavors of SDA's. I hate decisions like this. I will toss and turn all night thinking about this.

    Steve, I don't think the 1Cs are "TL-able". You can do the other standard upgrades with good-to-great results, like many around here have. But TL'ing them? I haven't heard of anyone doing it.

    and the ones he is selling is quite a deal for someone,

    Just might have to, we take the kids to adventureland so I go to The DSM area. Are these for sale from someone you know? I'm still on the fence someone from Iowa needs to get these 11steve maybe?     Some pretty damn good mod's have already been done. These should sound damn good just the way they sit. Hope they stay all in one piece to whomever you sell to.

    Didn't even know there was a vintage Polkie in the DSM area besides myself. Hehe.
    I wish I had the room to make use of these but I don't and my wife would castrate me if I brought more speakers home before clearing the 16 speakers that are currently residing in the garage. Hehe.

    SDA 1Cs + CS350 center for $$600. Agreed they should remain a set. I picked up the 1Cs in Dallas and the CS350 in Seattle
