Hey Brock. I have a couple of things on order. I hope I don't have to return them and repeat the fiasco that originated the Emo thread.....

How's the GTI? Mine is gone. swapped it for a cc. Needed the extra space. Love it.

This is by far the best GTi so far. The fun factor is off the charts as well and the upscale materials. It's quiet, practical, roomy, refined, nicely appointed and goes like snot when you want it to. The ride is a great balance between tossable and comfortable.

The CC is a real sleeper and looks so sneaky. I have a friend who is thinking about getting a CC to replace a Jetta. Parents just bought a 2013 Passat.

Rich, functioning correctly would be so boring...

Hey Carl, I remember meeting you at some parking lot for those ALIII's. which by the way I got from Rich. Where are they now???

Hey Dave. I see you're looking to get some MMG's. Damn good speakers.

Brock, you missed one attribute. So easy/cheap to mod. They can go pretty fast.

Welcome back to the real Ricardo. Did you have any issues with your stage 1 APR mod? I am strongly thinking about that. I did get a Carbino Stage 1 intake. Thinking about the APR tune. I still have some warranty left so I wasn't sure if I should wait or just go for it.

I had my hands on them not long ago while in New York. Ed (Savinon) still has them.

Ricardo, it would be an honor to have you as the Secretary of Justice. You can coordinate with Ted who is the head of Homeland Security.

Brock, YOU HAVE TO DO IT!! I had no problems at all; all the issues I heard were related to ECU removal, but people that didn't use the trusted/established shops. And in any case removal is only required for MK6. If I had to do it again I would go with GIAC (A tad more linear), but all of them give you an AMAZING improvement. Grin won't leave your face. Forget about buying tubes....save for Stage 1.
I haven't done anything to the CC. Thinking of going straight to K04. I got a DSG this time so there's no concerns on clutch problems.

Sounds good. Ted? Didn't he retire? Probably gone deep in the rabbit hole....

Love the DSG..............LOVE IT! The flexibility is the best part. There is an APR authorized shop in one of the Chicago suburbs. I could take it in early on a Saturday and have stage 1 done by the afternoon. Did you ever switch programs using the cruise control switch? How difficult/easy is it?

The cruise control swithcing is pretty easy; you just need to remember the sequence. Or write it down and keep it in your wallet/glove box.

I only switched it back to stock a couple of times when servicing it.
