Should have been titled "league of extraordinary mentalness".

Computer generated ridiculousness.
Can't believe Sean Connery got involved in the contrived nonsense.

    I agree, but I know others won't.

Just wasn't my kind of film. I tried to take it for what it was, but I wasn't even satisfied with that. :(

imo CRAP. I wanna say bad acting but the characters were all wierd they needed to go deeper into the characters so you can have a deeper understanding of them.
Wish I was a polkologist then I could call my self Dr.warviper.

I didn't think the acting was bad it was just the movie never seemed to produce any substance. Two many charaters and a very shallow plot. The director was just trying to hard to put in a lot of fictionial quirks and to make himself look cleaver.

Agree - very average movie. Two redeeming qualities. Lots of noise and rumble for my brand new home theatre, and my kids (age 8, 10, 12) loved it. Lots of action and not much objectionable content so it was great for the 3 boys.

I loved the movie man. As soon as they go through a hour of introducing/capturing characters its a thrill ride for me! Bring on the peanut gallery! I wanna watch it again (already watched it 3 times (2 months ago))

I really liked the movie alot. Even went out and bought it. Too many people are caught up with X Men. Good story and great characters. Most people did not understand who they were. People from history and folklore. And it was actually low budget by todays standards.
People will confuse Alien VS Predator with Jason VS Freddy because of the "VS" in the middle of the titles.
Did I mention UnderWorld kicked A$$........;)

I liked it. I agree it didn't care much about the audience but some far stupider movies this year were 10 times as arrogant but universally acclaimed nevertheless. League at least has a big intelligently composed orchestral score by Trevor Jones, an anomoly in a period in which everything has become Zimmer inc. corporate slop.

Saw this on the DVD reviw site for this DVD...

"Last, but in now way least, the DVD contains a Special Message that ANYONE owning this DVD should take a quick look at. I think Fox did very well by including this message on the DVD, given the market penetration of DVD these days."

What is the special message? Anyone?

I rather enjoyed this as well. My only grip was the poor CGI'd Mr. Hyde (supersized) at the end. Everything else was quite enjoyable.

    Peace Out~:D

The 30 minute or so battle at the end is awesome, IMO.....That was one of the most enjoyable parts of the movie

I liked it better the second time. It's a straight pocorn flick. No real delving into the characters as their should have been. *easily said by me, not in charge of a movie*

It and Underworld did **** jobs on the abilities of vampires. League was selective on the advantages and disadvantages of vampires, not holding to the "rules" I guess you could say. Then Underworld just had strong vampires who could cling to walls. How amazing.

Out of the hundreds of movies put out in 2003...these are two of them!!!
