Parasound HCA 1200 power amp

I am re-listing this for $280 + shipping.

I had it listed here for 5 days but removed the posting yesterday because I thought I was under a deadline to sell the HCA 1200 in order to buy another amp but I realize I have more time to try and sell this amp.

The amp works perfectly and is in fairly nice cosmetic shape. The only 2 minor (to me) cosmetic issues being:

(1) a few scratches to the top left corner of the unit, and

(2) a tobacco odor to unit. The tobacco odor is not overpowering at all but I did notice it when I got it a few months ago and, after inquiring, I was told that the prior seller was a smoker. It did not bother me at all but I know it may to some so I wanted to note it.

Sorry, but I have had trouble posting pics here for some reason.

Payment should by check or money order only as I do not accept pay pal.

Shipping is to be by UPS and will be approx. $47 - $70, depending on location.
I checked shipping rates at UPS and, for example, shipping from NY to GA will be $47,
while shipping from NY to CA will be $70.

I do not have original box but I will pack this carefully for safe transport.

    I just wanted to let anyone who may be interested in this amp that I will be out of town for the next two days (leaving tomorrow morning, Saturday, and returning Monday night) and may not have access to computer/internet, so if anyone is interested, please post here or pm me and I will get back to you as soon as I can but no later than Monday evening (hopefully sooner if I can access a computer).

    This amp is definitely still available. Hopefully it will find a new home with a fellow Polkie.

    The amp is still available. I am surprised it has not sold by now. I will keep it listed exclusively on CP for the next few days but, if it does not sell, I will then list it on the other usual sites (ebay, audiogon, etc).

    I kept the price very low and was hoping to sell it here, to give a good deal to a fellow Polkie, so please let me know in the next few days if anyone is interested in this amp.

    Final price drop to $275. That is as low as I can go and I think it is a steal at that price. It is even below what I paid for it myself but I would like to move it along to help fund some other recent purchases. Thanks.

    Bump. Tough crowd here - I am doing everything I can to move this great amp and am almost giving it away at $275, lol.

    These Parasounds are great amps. I know, I have one and am trying to sell one here also. This is a great way to get into seperates at a good price. BTW, I purchased a amp from a smoker also some time ago and had the smell problem. I took a bunch of scented dryer sheets and put them all over the vents. Then wrapped it up with a blanket for a few days and the smell was gone! GLWS !

    dekuda, thanks for the note. I agree that Parasound amps are great amps. The amp you are offering for sale is also a super amp at a very good price and I am surprised that these Parasound amps have not sold by now. They are really good deals for some wonderful amps. GLWS as well. Thanks again.

    Ya know pal, I'm somewhat shocked at this price that this puppy is still here. All those threads, I can't afford an amp, where can I find a good amp for a few hundies....heck man, here it is. Great sounding amp for the price of a nice dinner.

    Either people here do not have the need or money. For those who are not familiar with Parasound you are missing out. I know Parasound will sell on Ebay. These HCA Curl designed amps are great bang for the buck.
