Hello...
I'm in the market for a new TV stand/cabinet to fit all my a/v equipment, I plan on adding fans for the heat. I'm Looking for 60-70" width x 20"+ depth to properly fit my 7 channel amp ( its long 19 1/2"). I'm wondering what you are all using to store your audio equipment. Ideas or pics would be good. Look forward to hearing from you.........

BDI or Salamander gets my vote. Mine is vented on the bottoms and rear with the rears being removable if needed. You can get the salamanders with built in fans and you can add to it.

Many, many options. However, I bought this Kathy Ireland IMBR371 a couple years ago for about $800 delivered:
It's good quality and I really like the color. Bought it from a local furniture store. My LSiC fits perfectly in the middle. The top-back also flips open (at the top) to make connections easier. It's like a 7" door at the top. I have a Pioneer Elite SC-7 in one of the sides (at the bottom). Fits easily too.
I placed a pair of LSi7's on top next to the TV. I know this isn't optimal, but it is only a living room setup. It looks and sounds great. -
I knew I wanted my center channel to go inside my cabinet, and finding a cabinet with a space large enough to accommodate the CSiA6 was tough. My receiver is also pretty damn big, and finding something to fit that was tough as well.
I ended up going with a plateau SR-V75. You can google it for pics. I think it does the job, although I've never owned a different, decent stand before so I have little to compare it to. Definitely liked the BDI stuff as well, it just didn't fit my center channel.Polk Fronts: RTi A7's
Polk Center: CSi A6
Polk Surrounds: FXi A6's
Polk Rear Surround: RTi4

Lots of options out there. If your looking for furniture and not just a rack, I would recommend Salamander as mentioned above or StudioTech http://www.studiotech.com/index.asp?p=htc
My rack is a StudioTech, but they don't make that model anymore. It's open on all sides and has held up well to the weight of all the components I have mounted in it.

PS For pics of the rack I'm using, click on the link in my signature. That 60" DLP is gone, and a 60 plasma is mounted on the wall now. The top of the rack holds my center channel. Take a look at the system showcase for some more ideas of what other folks are doing.Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be paid. ..... Wow... thanks for the reply's.... The problem is trying to find something to fit my amp which is 20" depth + adding cables. Ikea TV stands don't really offer anything bigger than 15" depth. I'm might have to make some modifications by removing the back panel, decisions, decisions....
