Parasound HCA-800II

Anyone have any experience with this amp?

    So how much of an upgrade would a Parasound HCA 800II amp and C/PT-600 pre-amp be compared to my Denon DRA-835R?

    Parasound has a solid reputation but I have not been able to find much info on these units. For that reason I am concerned about their age and finding info on servicing them.

    I have had a couple of 800, still have one. Good solid state amp very relieable and nice sounding 100w high currant amp it is also bridigeable.clean warm sound with good dynamics. I have several parasound amp and prefer them over comparable sized amps from other makers. As far as the denon goes just dont know that unit but cant think any reciever could compair ( within its power range.) very serviceable.also they sound nice with all polk speakers i have used with them ( rta12c, 5jr+ monitor10, 7's 12's. Ect. Especialy nice as a dirst step into seppotates.
