I don't know much about these. Are they a nice speaker? what are they worth? anyone have any input?

    The original Model 9? Not so much. Its value is as a (possible) collectible; it was Polk's first true consumer product.
    The Monitor 9A, which abandoned the spitty (as implemented) Motorola piezo tweeter for a proper crossover and the smoooooth and sweel silk dome Peerless tweeter, ain't bad at all.

    The reputation of both here at this forum is pretty poor, but I have a pair of 9As and I think they're perfectly respectable. The 4" CTS extended-range MR drivers they use to cover most of the spectrum are well-made and nice sounding drivers.
