4-ohm LSi9s and Denon 2803 6-ohm compatible?

I have Polk LSi9s (on the way) and a Denon 2803 Receiver already in house. The Polks are rated at 4-ohm and he Denon receiver sends 6-ohm signals.
Is this combination compatible? If not is there a way to adjust this difference?

The answer to your question is, no, is not compatible, especially if you run it at decent volume. It will run ok in low volume, and it will get hot. Please see the attached discussions:

I used to have Denon 2802, which is the older version of 2803. With the proper amplification, LSi9 will sound soo much better...
