Listening to the 180g vinyl. Hendrix was so great.
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

"....And the gods made love" is absolutely outstanding on SDA's. In fact, the entire album is! Enjoy sir!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

TO SALUTE THE LAST MOMENT EVER ON DRY LAND
OUR MACHINE IT HAS DONE ITS WORK PLAYED ITS PART WELL
WITHOUT A SCRATCH ON OUR BODY WHEN WE BID IT FAREWELL

They did a great job with the Hendrix 180g pressings, and they sound incredible on the SDA's.

When that album came out, I listened to a side in my room every single day before school for a year. My father would yell, "Turn off that Beatles music!"

"Anger he smiles towering in shiny metallic purple armor,
Queen Jealousy/envy waits behind him, her fiery green gown stares at the grassy ground...

...and all of these emotions of mine keep holding me from giving my life, to a RAINBOW LIKE YOU..."

"The night I was born, the moon turned a fire red"

And he could play the guitar too.

to add just a tad to what Double G posted,,thank you sir

There was a young girl, who's heart was a frown
Cause she was crippled for life,
And she couldn't speak a sound
And she wished and prayed she could stop living,
    So she decided to die
She drew her wheelchair to the edge of the shore
And to her legs she smiled you wont hurt me no more
But then a sight she'd never seen made her jump and say
Look a golden winged ship is passing my way

And it really didn't have to stop, it just kept on going...

And so castles made of sand slips into the sea, eventually

In nearly every one of his concerts, for many years now, Bob Dylan still plays Hendrix's version of "All Along The Watchtower." Each of Hendrix's first three albums is a work of pure genius.
