As the heading says,I have a Yamaha DSP Z9 ,i want to know which is better between the yammy and the Rotel Pro/power amp setup.
Which should i go for,i have the yammy,i love it but i like Rotel, especially the RSP 1098 + RMB 1095.

Must i sell my Yammy and buy the Rotel setup....or should i keep the yammy and but a set of POLK RTi A9's????

please help......

Thanks

It's all about which one you think sounds better, separates are more flexible for future upgrades and I love Rotel products but that's a hell of a receiver too.

Buy the Rotel and compare it with the Yamaha, sell the one you don't like! I have a feeling you'll keep the Rotel once you hear it, even though that is a very nice AVR.

The Yammie will never drive the A9's properly, so you should get the Rotel gear then the A9's.
