HDTV receiver crackling

I hooked up my Hitachi 57F500 and the HDTV box last night and found that there is a slight crackling when watching regular def channels. It didn't happen when watching any of the HDTV channels. It also crackles when I output the sound into my polk set-up. I have a 75ohm cable from the wall into the box and the component cable/2 channel audio to the TV. I disconnected everything but the TV and Cable box to check for interference and it still crackled. I also then removed the 2 channel audio cables from the set-up and ran a Toslink cable from the box into my Denon. Completely bypassed the TV speakers and it still made the noise. The only thing I can think of is the box is screwed up or the cable into the house is bad. Anyone ever heard of this problem? Thanks!
