How do people feel about buying speakers from the Polk Ebay store? should I avoid it and continue wait to buy them new from someone else?

I have the black A9's but want really want the cherry ones? They are going for 499.00 each.

Polk E-Bay is run by Polk Audio.

They tend to stand behind their products, and customer service is great. I really don't see a down-side here.

I understand that part. I was just unsure if I was taking a chance and I would be losing 3 years of warranty time also.

Yeah if you don't notice anything wrong with them right away i'm pretty sure you'll be fine for the long haul! I've had Polk Audio Rti70s,CSI40,Rti38 and Rti30s and never had a single problem!

Quality speakers no need to waste time thinking about it, buy them!

Go ahead and do it. Any problems should pop up early on in your purchase time.

Thank you again for the input.

I had to laugh at the people telling me to buy them because they are great speakers!! I know they are since I have a pair already as stated in my intro question...

Buy with confidence from them. I bought my 12's factory refurbed from Polk and I honestly can't find one spot on them at all!! Plus they have warranty still. I'd be willing to bet if you did have problems not very far out of warranty PA would be willing to help you out.

Forgot to add that I've had those Rti speakers for 10 years without issue. Still plan to use them downstairs whenever we get a new house.

Oh and my new LSiMs came from Polk Direct! No problems! All like brand new as if I was the first person to open up the boxes and they all were supposivly refurbished. I and many others think there just over stock or something.

Sure the speakers are going to be good but, the quality is like new. I've purchased a sub and set of bookies that looked like they just came off the line. i would not hesitate to buy from them again.....if that was the type of answer you were looking for.

    MrBiron,

TY for the answer... Also I like the Mass-hole for your location. I can relate to that since I was born and raised in Springfield. Left in 1992 for the and have been Active Duty ever since. Family is still there though and go back often.
