Excuse my ignorance but the BNC connectors convert rca cables to BNC ones then?

Yes, the BNC's would then be rca plugs (Like the BlackCat digital cable) I have some very good adapters (better than most on the market) that I would let go for super cheap if you buy the BNC's.
That said, the Audioquest BNC's are non-solder types.
You simply buy the cable off Ebay for example and strip the wire, and it is as simple as plugging the stipped wire into the ITC-24 BNC plugs, then you get a TRUE 75 Ohm impedance, especially important with digital cables!
Great wire, great plugs, win/win formula!

Several types of Audioquest wire can be used.

Not to mention Alan, with the rca adapters, they would make EXCELLENT analog rca cables!

If I had room in my main components (internally), I would go ALL BNC connectors throughout.
    Both analog and digital.
Prolly the best connection type on the market today (bar none:cheesygrin:), I've made a "few" solder types in the past!

Ok, here is what i need..besides a new brain :sigh:, have a DAC where the digital out rca is bad, so the manuf is sending a BNC cable for me to use. BNC at one end and RCA on the other. Would prefer to use my nice RCA cables instead of his cheap china one so need to attach to the BNC connection on the unit...savvy??:mrgreen:

I didn't realise you had good digital cables Alan?:lol:

No, most BNC chassis mounts are female plugs.
    Most cables are male.
We may be able to figure something out if you want to pm with a more detailed description?

If you have an rca input on the source, yes you can use one of these adapters.
If it is BNC on the source, no you cannot.
Just pm, not 100% what the hell you are talking about to be sure!

Ummmmm............... Pretty sure I can take care of any "input problems" you may have Alan!
I ate a DAC chassis earlier with a nice salad (I prefer Ranch Dressing).
Doubt you have a problem that has not been discussed on this forum, or that I have not done previously!
    PM sent!

PS: I have some nice test equipment!

Pep, PM me your phone number, I have some questions on the BNC connectors, specifically related to making RCA IC's with them....

Send it to me Alan, I'll fix it.
No charge except for shipping costs and any parts costs.
Keep in mind, I may need to give it a good long "listen" before sending it back!
    JK!

PS: I have one of the AudioNote silver rca inputs we discussed on hand here, it is used however, but should work great for this application, or the Cardas rca input link I sent ya.

    Pleeeeeaze!

Analog IC's using the Audioquest BNC's (TRUE 75 ohm connection especially important for digital!) but excellent for analog also:
