I bought one, time to replace my craptastic 6.5in that I scavenged from a craptastic aiwa stereo system. Thanks for the heads up.

That is cheap and would add some bottom end to satellites or mini-monitors. However keep two things in mind:

    1. It only goes down to 45 hz
    2. It only weighs 15 pounds. That is unbelievable. I have drivers that weigh significantly more than that.

Sorry to be a party-pooper, but I think in this case you get what you pay for...

Their MSRP is $199 and that'd be too high but for $65 shipped which is same as $35+shipping, it should be okay for some bass bump.

Yeah but damn, $65 is worth the price of admission I think. For a bedroom rig, computer etc. I might snag one to go out in my guitar/junk room. That is if the wife will gimme admission money. lol

Got my sub today, perfect for my setup. Hands down better than the crappy ones I was using (and it actually has the auto-off on it, which pained me not to have when I got my new receiver that didn't have the switched power on the back of it that my old teac had). For the price, I'm very happy with the purchase. Just picked up some speaker stands off amazon now since my crappy subs were my speaker stands before and now they are going away. Thanks for the heads up!
