Monitor 60, CS1 Series II Center Channel, and ONKYO TX-SR607 7.2-Channel

I have the Onkyo TX-SR607 paired with the monitor 60's as front and the CS1Series two as the center. I get fair
sound and typically have to be on the THX setting on the receiver. The feed is coming through the PC AUX port, or
AUX cable from the TV. I have tried using the optical cable as well as HDMI cable and the best output I have received is from the simple AUX audio cable. The main complaint is that the receiver has to be cranked to 50% or more to get
any decent sound output. It is very difficult to hear dialogue from movies and music doesn't sound much better either.
I am pretty sure it has to come down to my wiring, but am not really sure where to start. All speakers are wired with plain speaker cable. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

that's normal after running Audyssey your receiver is calibrated at reference level meaning 0 DB is reference level. I personally listen around -15 to -20 DB for all music and movies
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same.
