This might be the dumbest question ever asked on the forum, but how much better would this be than my current setup (modded LSi 15's, LSiC, SVS Plus/2).

I'm assuming the price is fair, but not a great deal.

That actually is a great price for the full set with control center.

For home theater it's on another level altogether than that Lsi setup, for music though I'm not sure one way or the other.

That's kind of what I thought (thus my "dumb question" preface). I was hoping to get a few, "it won't be much of an upgrade" replies:lol:

I'm soooo tempted to make an inquiry and possibly a trip to Austin this weekend. BUT...this is not a system you can just sneak into the ol' HT.

Anybody interested in an LSi/SVS combo???

I think you've been posting this set of SRTs for sale in various places for some time. We've had people post "Wanted to Buy SRT" ads in the classified section. I thought nooshinjohn bought these a while back? I can't recall if you've posted them for sale here before. If not why not, you've been around a while and no stranger here. GLWTS

Nope... there were none for sale at that time.... we were pulling the guys leg(the one looking for them) because the only reason he joined here was to buy SRT's.

I would love to have a set for HT, but there is no room at the in for them now. I think the big SDA's do a superb job for HT, with the added benefit of having an amazing support network for upgrades and replacement parts.

If these are the same ones that have been off and on for a couple years now, this looks to be a hardcore push to move them along this time. His wife must have finally called his bluff on them.

Offer 2800, and I bet they find a new home quickly.

The remote is not needed for operation. The remote duplicates some of the knobs on the SRT controller.

    Off SRT topic....

The Boston Acoustics VR14 center that the guy is selling has really awaken the interest again in hearing the VR series. I used to be a big Boston fan years ago and never heard the VR set in a HT setting. That center seems nice!

these are still available if anyone wants a road trip, it's tax return season after all! :)
Yet you continue to blatantly break the rules. Nice...

Who cares as if I was going to make a roadtrip it would be to pick these up as they are MUCH cheaper than his 3500 and you get MUCH MUCH more..

SRT system with Front & Rear controllers, missing remote controls and grills for rears, but include 2 extra tweeters and a woofer just in case you need them. Polk no longer stock them. $2800
