Outside Shower

I am building an outside shower this weekend. Since we live in close proximity to the beach here in Charlestown Anne Marie has requested I finally build one. She has already purchased the teak flooring  so I am committed to doing it. I have to say WE love taking a outside shower. Fortunately we have a perfect spot for it and lines are already installed in the basement near the rear wall with shutoffs for hot and cold water.

How many of you guys/gals have and or enjoy an outside shower?

Any suggestions or recommendations? Anne Marie's father was a home builder here for many years and has built hundreds of them so he will be assisting me or rather me assisting him

Had one when my folks had a beach house. It was redwood, built on posts with fiberglass sides (the wavy panel things) & a slatted roof (1 X 4 on edge?) It was on the sand, had no drain & you could strip, shower & dress in privacy altho it was close to the house. At the end of the day you need to wash the salt off....

Too dangerous for me to have an outside shower. Big apartment buildings on both sides of me.

I am afraid of being harpooned.

Good luck with the build, but I've always stuck to the hose...

They are great, IMO, nothing like getting out of the pool and washing off before going inside.

We had PEX piping installed for the H & C water, but I changed a couple of things to better suit our needs (water faucet for filling pool, watering plants, etc.), also changed out the shut-offs to 1/4 turn ball valve fittings (SharkBite, available at Home D). More expensive than sweated valves, but I remove them and take them in when we winterize, as they are prone to cracking in extreme cold!
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Too many wierdoes with binoculars. Besides you take a leak outside you get slapped with indesent exposure, whats going to come with fully stripping down?

This looks like a simple design, but provides privacy:
