Anyone know how to delete a contact? You know, when you don't remember a person's addy and you key in the first letter of the address and it gives you a bunch to choose from that you have used before? I want to delete one of the choices it gives you...can you do that??

What version of outlook are you using? This is how it works with at least 2007 and up (heck 2013 actually has a delete 'x' beside the email to remove it from that list). You may be on like 2000 or 2003. I can't remember if those ones let you delete or not, been quite a long time since I've used them.

Edit: looks like it should work in 2003 as well from this link: http://email.about.com/od/outlooktips/qt/et_del_autocomp.htm

If you have 2003+ then you may want to look at Ingressor (on the link above) as it will allow you to edit the auto complete file. Hope this helps.

That may be Outlook Express, I don't know if it is different than Outlook Exchange that I am using.

Soooo, your talking about the web page, Outlook.com, and not the actual outlook web mail client from MS Office. Check, I'll take a look at mine and see.

I think you need to click the arrow next to where it says outlook on the top left of your screen, and then choose people. You should be able to check contacts you want to remove there and then simply click delete at the top of the screen.
