Ceiling Surround install direction

OK I admit to being a speaker newb, but I cant find the answer anywhere else including the install docs or by searching.
I am installing Polk 80fx-rt ceiling surrounds in a 5.1 theater. The speakers are marked left and right so that's obvious, BUT the speakers are angled within their enclosures. Should the main speaker cone point toward the seating or away? If the idea of the rear sound is to be diffuse it appears they should face toward the walls.
