ok i just put a bid in on a piece of screne materal. i am going with a 16X9 115 diag and the size will be 100 in by 57 in. i was going to do a bigger screen but would have alot more work to go bigger. now do i put the center above the screen or put it below and jack the screen to the celeing?

Ganzo,
Using the Pythagorean Therom in geometry (a^2 + b^2 = c^2)the dimensions you just posted 100 X 57 does give one a 115 inch diagonal. I was a little confused in your first post because the numbers you posted did not work out. Good for you now though you got it figured out.
Your next question is about the center channel speaker? Depends on if you have to strain your neck to look at the screen with it on top?

that were the size of the 2 sheets of screne materal was avable in. i mesured mu room and decided how big to go and got 1 mesurement and caculated the rest.
i am looking at 3 projectors the benq 8700, ae500 by panny and the z2 from sanyo i would like the plv 70 but the throw distance is very long and that will cost me more. -
I'd have to vote for the center channel under the screen. I had mine on top for some time and it made for very unnatural panning when the sound went from L to C to R; big speed bump effect in the center channel. This was with the speaker angled down as well. Picked up a Sanus center channel stand, put it right under the edge of the screen and slightly angled up. The transition is almost perfect now and all dialog is much more natural.

Go to projectorcentral.com, look up the PJ's on your list and use the projector calculator. Simple.
