So the 5.1 speaker package RM6750 has no wires or cables included. My receiver needs a subwoofer cable for the subwoofer, and normal speaker wire connections for the satellites.
Can anyone show me the cheapest subwoofer cable and speaker wire in Canada that would be compatible with both components? And does the Polk even accept subwoofer cable or is it just normal speaker wire?
Sheesh this would be so much easier if they included it.

If you're in a hurry, most any electronics dealers carry speaker wire and sub cables. A sub cable looks like a single RCA cable. In a pinch, you could even use an RCA cable, lust connect one strand to the sub.
Many people like Blue Jeans cable, but not sure of Canadian shipping.
As far as speaker wire, you could get away with 16 gauge, but personally I prefer 14 gauge, and many will only use 12. You could probably find 14 and 16 guage at a local hardware store.

I'm just looking for the cheapest ones, so probably Amazon.ca. As far as cutting the speaker wire, can I use scissors?
Also, one other question...
Are the specs on the RM6750 better than the Denon SYS-1312 (included in the Denon 1312 XP) which was my previous system I'm replacing?

So will they sound better? -
Best to get a cheap pair if wire cutters, stripper better still, than using scissors.
We all hear things differently than others. You can take any brand you wish, compare every number on the spec sheets, and in the end, if it sounds crappy to you the numbers are meaningless. Polk speakers sound different than Klipsh, and they both sound different than Def-Tech. The specs don't really matter.
If your replacing a system, did you think of using the wire from your current one, at least temporarily? Sounds like you're on a pretty tight budget. -
I'm looking at the back of the subwoofer and there doesn't seem to be any connection for a RCA / subwoofer cable?

Upper right corner. Sub in, white and red plug. Use one of those, not both.

You mean "line in" ? So it doesn't matter if it's in R or L? Hm. Also why does the sub have the speaker wire inputs, don't they go in the receiver?
Would this work

and this for the speaker wire?

Those would both work fine.Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

Those extra speaker wire in and outs are "IF" your receiver has no crossover settings. Then one would use the speaker outs on the receiver into the speaker in on the sub and then out to the speaker.. Then one could use the controls on the sub to set the crossover and then the frequencies below that settings would play from the sub and above that setting go out to the speakers.
Most receivers nowadays has a crossover setting so you can just use a subwoofer cable to send the LFE channel out to the sub only.
You'll want to set all the speakers up as small and the crossover on them at either 80 or 100Htz and always set the LFE setting at 120Htz if there is a setting for it on the receiver.Full 5 channel set of Polk Audio

Sheesh this would be so much easier if they included it.
The wire/ sub cable is not included because 1) they have no way of knowing how much wire you need for your particular room and 2) they don't know what gauge of wire you prefer. My humble setup...
...is no more. -
I'm assuming you will need these two cords,
rca y splitter for the sub
