Just purchased the Outlaw RR2150 - your recommendations with all the +ve reviews convinced me.
Someone recommended a gauge 14 speaker cable for this setup - I'm a newbie, so any suggestions on this ?
I'll post snaps once all components arrive (amp and speakers) - should be mid-week!
Thanks again for your advice!

Finally, all components here ! .. looks sweet ... Don't have a source yet ... lol ... But i'll try and pull some CDs onto an iPod in lossless format and try it tonight .... Thanks again for everyone's help on here! If anyone is interesting in knowing how it sounds, please ping on the thread ....! -
Congrats and enjoy!Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

Wow ! The setup is amazing - clarity-wise its simply superb - the bass response is wicked too - I can be downstairs and it still causes a "deep clean thump".jeremymarcinko wrote: »Also don't worry about overpowering any of the mentioned models. Its unlikely you'll pull much that wattage given the space.
Now, I'm tempted to "push" the system a little (for just about 30 seconds) - should I be worried about 'amp clipping' damaging the setup?
Perhaps I should move this question to a different thread with the specs, so I can understand the concept better - trying to learn really, more than anything else!
This link for instance has a really nice explanation of why amp clipping can damage the speakers - I tried to read and match the specs of my system to that example, but wasn't completely sure since I couldn't figure out what voltage corresponded to the max volume on the dial (there was no dB indicator on the amp) - pointers? -
You do not want to go anywhere near max volume. I'm not familiar with how their volume dial is set up but on most once you start getting roughly in the -10 to 0 or into the + side, your hitting the danger zone.HT SYSTEM-

Most amps do not make much more volume past 1/2 way from what i've noticed. I wouldn't test the limits of the speakers or the amp until you have several hundred hours on them. That's just me.

Thank you both for the response - yeah makes sense - was just tempted the first day, but I've not gone past the half-way mark. And yes, I noticed exactly what you said about the "volume past the 1/2 way" mark - it does not seem to add much volume at all.
