Rti6 vs Rti-A3... any difference?

I currently own a pair of Rti 6s and love them but the shape and style of the A3s are calling me. Anyone have any experience listening to both? Other than the cabinetry, is there any significant difference to the drivers, x-overs, etc or is it purely cosmetic? Thanks!

V3R says the crossovers are different between the RTi's and A's. The A's are supose to be a little less bright from what I have been told.

Well the two best ways to find out are 1. Listen to both and if that isn't possible then read stereophiles review of both focusing on the measurements. If I recall correctly they both have similar high frequency bumps that produce that bright sound that people refer to. I prefer the rt25i myself.

The majority of the changes are actually in the midbass and bass circuits. Fwiw

Hmmmmmmmm. Any way to get a look at the crossover schematics of the two? I'm curious to see what they may have changed

What are you pairing them with? Is this your main speakers with a sub?

I heard but cannot confirm that the RTi6 can be used with stands pretty easily but you will have to make some mods for the A3's.
