Ok, before I embark upon this journey - I am looking for some help. Preferable explicit help
Not much of a teck here, but willing to learn.
I am installing 4 pair of the MM651UM + MM1040UM sub in my boat. It has been recommended that I pick up the PA5000.5 amp to go along with it.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction on how to wire this baby? I have been searching the internet with little success so far.
Thanks in advance.

Does your boat have an existing stereo? How old is it if it does? What kind of boat? Do you already have an extra power source or just a starting battery?

So....
the complete disclosure at this point, because the more I read the more I realize I am going to need some help
2006 Bayliner 225xt
Alpine CDA-118M head unit
2nd battery and appropriate switching mechanisms
4 x Exile SXT65Q speakers for tower (swapped out for the Polk 651 is was going to put on the tower - couldn't find reasonalbe cans)
4 x Polk MM651UM speakers for boat
1 x Polk MM1040 sub
1 x Polk 5000.5 amp
So far was going to wire the Exile to the amp in parallel, sub to amp and the Polk to the head unit.
Thanks,
Collin
