    I just had to look up the details of this case:
    Shot in the head, stabbed 30 times, and nearly decapitated.
    But it was self defense. RIIIIIIIIGHT:eek:

    She says she prefers death to life in prison, as it would be the "ultimate freedom"... As soon as she is sentenced, they should take they should take her from the courthouse to the town square and grant her wish.

    I am so glad that this trial is over and I will never have to listen any more "learned attorneys" discussion of testimony or prosecutorial antics.
    But I am sure that the blond legal talk show host will find some other missing attractive white girl to champion or otherwise use to sell commercial time.
    Cameras in courtrooms have ruined the American Legal System.

    Armchair quarterbacking be it from lawyers, talking heads in the media, whoever, is the new reality TV. Getting harder and harder to find anyone who can just express facts without being judgmental or imparting personal biases. Everything is in question based on hearsay.

    Her trial had to be one of the most boring things to watch on TV. Honey Boo-boo at least carries some entertainment factor. :smile: Still, lawyers in general are boring. I still believe trials should be in a court of law and not tried in the court of public opinion which happens when camera's are present.

    A lot of this has been propagated by our media. We should place more value on human life, morality, respect for each other, I could go on and on. The entertainment and the media should take more responsibility for our programming and reporting. The Kardashians? Honey Booboo? WTF is wrong with us?
