Congratulations! Very nice looking speakers. They look to be professionally packed for shipping. Didn't shipping that far cost a fortune?

They were 130.00 from Colorado to Maine. I tracked them down this morning. It said delivery on 13'th. but track said they were in Maine. So i called and then drove 40 miles to get them before they hit delivery truck. The shipper forgot cord. Shipped it USPS and i just got the 1 min ago. Great timing
they did a AWESOME packing on the speakers..couldnt have been happier...randy

I'm really surprised at how reasonably priced the shipping was for that distance. Who did you ship them with?

They appear to be in great condition - Congrat's!!

Any of the drivers shift/lock-up on ya?

It was shipped through DHL GLOBAL.to the place i picked them up in Wesbrook Maine BSP delivery service. The shipper would not use others because insurance wasn't good''so they say. Wise choice id say. Drivers are perfect/i was afraid of that. But they were packaged top notch :)

...yup. Good memory....some would say too much. But i am happy. They are in a tad better shape than the ones i use to have. I actually didnt think i was going to be able to get another pair in that condition. So i am very happy..now as time goes on i hope to upgrade them. But i do realize that can cost a bit..i was talking to a friend about upgrading his monitors. He was all upset about 200.00..heck i told him if he kept them wouldnt it be WORTH THE UPGRADE....i have never done upgrades. But with sda's i think its worth it..i look forward to using these....

    That's what it counts.
If you are happy and satisfied with your purchase, that's good enough.
Few bucks more/less, don't loose hair.

I also have never upgraded any speakers until I recently did monitor 7A's.
I had to upgrade as one of them was very muddy and sounded flappy and plain tasteless.
Also, I have 4 pairs of EPI's that need a capacitor so ordered all at once.
I went with cheap brand and now 7A's are very open, airy and tight.
If you go with good brands, they'll cost way more than what those speakers' used value.

Yeah those are NOT small speakers. I LOVE your set with the real wood tops and bottoms. Mine are studios so they're not as nice as yours.

    Have fun!

Do you mean the interconnect cable, the one that connects the speakers to each other? I've found that using a higher quality cable + connectors improves the SDA effect.

Hope the IC cable is properly done.
    Is that b/b or p/b?

According to the Schematics they're pin blade. I'd make one using really nice speaker wire: high purity solid core copper, preferably with teflon insulation and with the + and - woven together.

If the connectors can't be found you could install a pair of Cardas or similar quality copper billet binding posts (preferable really) and use pure copper spade connectors on the IC cable.

For p/b, good speaker wire with one banana plug works great.
