    Bueno Cinco de Mayo to you George. We celebrated on Quatro de Mayo last night at this little Mexican restaraunt down the road they close the street down lots of people pretty good time, lots of stuff and we partied are brains out. I almost should post a video of Hannelore and some other lady on the dance floor that I recorded on the I-phone, but I guess it would not be appropriate.

    It's amazing what some gals will do after a bunch of Coronas, and once they get thier fill they never want to go home on that south of the border stuff.

    I'm kinda curious, other than another excuse to go out and get fall down s**tfaced drunk, why do we celebrate Cinco de Mayo in the US?

    Just like Saint Paddys Day after going through 5 months of winter these days just take away cabin fever, and get you out and about. But like you say what is the reason other than it being a cultural holiday.

    I confused Cinco de Mayo with May 1 and wasted quite a bit of time practicing "The Internationale" in Spanish.
    The roofers seemed to enjoy it quite a bit, though, so I guess it wasn't all for nothing.
