New Shunyata power conditioner

A few months ago I saw a mention of this in either stereophile or the absolute sound. It is supposeed to have near Triton performance, but at less than $3k. I have an inquiry in now with The Cable Companyto see when they will start carrying it. I always get a discount from them, so once they have it I think I will replace my Panamax in my HT/surround sound system with this Shunyata. If like other Shunyata products it will make a clear and obvious sound quality improvement, and since the Oppo will be attached there will also be a video improvement.

I can't wait. :biggrin:

    Got a reply from the The Cable Company. It is $2995 before any discounts, and it should start shipping from Shunyata in two weeks. That gives me two weeks to talk myself into buying it, some more power cords, and some RCA interconnects.

    Well, I placed the order on Thursday with the Cable Company for a Shunyata Hydra AV, spikes, a Ztron Anaconda power cable, SR-Z1 duplex, and some Ztron Python RCA interconnects. I also ordered a Bryston AES digital cable from Bryston. The HT/surround/stereo system is soon going to step up its game.

    I will put the Anaconda into the two channel system to feed the Triton, move the current Ztron Python to the New Hydra AV. The Hydra will replace the Panamax, and the Ztron Cobra feeding the Panamax will move to the Sunfire TGA5400 amp. Once I get the Bryston digital and Python ICs I am adding my currently idle Bryston BDA1 DAC into the mix. This will eliminate the Onkyo DAC, and, I hope, bring the stereo in the HT up another notch.

    Can't wait to see if this turns out as well as I expect it to. :smile:

    I have been very patriotic the last few years trying to reinvigorate the economy. It is difficult, but somebody has to do it. :smile:

    Silicon Valley is doing quite well. Commutes are even worse now, which is a good economic barometer.

    Received notice yesterday (Friday) that the gear is shipped. Hopefully, I can get everything installed before this coming Friday so I can give it a good Friday night workout, and post a review.
