Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. That is a great looking amp with the combo of 6SN7s and 845s. That design is the most powerful 30wpc you'll ever own...

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

It sounds full , dynamic, yet sweet and very good bass. I've been rolling amp quite a lot recently but I think I will keep this one for quite some times :)

Make sure you check the bias at least once a month!. Tubes get weaker with time. :frown:

Are you having any issues biasing those 845 tubes?

Absolutely loving it. It's my new reference amp. Some people said using a preamp to pair with will improve the sound furthermore but I'm not ready to do that yet :)

Nope. I'm using Shuguang 845b and no bias issue at all.

Good to hear. I ran those tubes when I had an 845 amp and I thought they were great; I love the glow of the carbon. :)

Yup ... but now I have to give one of my speakers a good 2 feet away from the 845 amp due to excessive heat!
