I'm not sure where to set the crossover for my RTi8s. I have a Hsu Research VTF-2 subwoofer (CSi5 center, CSi3 back, and RTi6 surrounds). My Marantz SR7300 lets me choose between 80 Hz, 100 Hz, 120 Hz. I've set all of the speakers to "small" in the Marantz set-up. Which crossover would you guys suggest for the RTi8s with the VTF-2?

80hz would probably be best. If your using the RCA connection to the HSU, don't forget to connect to the "unfiltered input" on the sub. If it doesn't have one, turn up the crossover on the sub all the way up.

I run my VTF-2 with the 8's crossed over at 80 Hz and they blend beautifully. Set the crossover to "out" on the Hsu and all the rest of your speakers to small and connect your receiver to the RCA inputs. I have a 16 X 16 room and the volume just a notch below 9 o'clock. I have the exact set up you have (speaker wise) minus the side surrounds.
