Hope you enjoy, here's a ride on our property---sorry for the shakiness, it's hard to ride one handed!

So, you're drowning out there, eh?

Tell you what, we'll switch residences for a week or three, you can have my 45Mbps+ downloads while I'm there. Deal?

So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Nice Video but you know I can see Mexico from your backyard.

Steve, I wonder if Cable internet would be better for you. I can tell you have slow dsl pm me I can can explain why. Maybe better by local telco provider and not a resaler of telco.

As you face the back of the house, Cananea Mexico is to the right (see mountain range to the South), Naco can also be seen at night from the front porch, looking Southeast. We're 7 miles from the international border. The entire mountain range you see to the South is Sonora Mexico.

The green tree line you see from the front of the house (apprx 3/4 mile) is the San Pedro river.

Oh yeah. LOL. No, actually illegals tend to stick to the ash canyon area (south end of the Huachucas/Montezuma's pass) as there is more natural cover.

Thanks for posting that. I love S. Arizona. When the time comes to sell my house and escape the cesspool up here, Arizona is on my list. That is if there is any work available in Tucson, Sierra Vista, ?

So wait, I'm not sure about something.

In this shot from Google Maps, is your property all the green or all the green AND the red too?

Cool man, though I don't know why you posted another thread about not having quality media services. I see a whole lotta stuff. Judging from that video, I see a few wildlife channels playing, a couple movies are on too. Blazing saddles, City Slickers 2, Sahara, and a few Spaghetti Westerns. Could even be a few reality tv shows mixed in there. Heck, I even see a Road Runner cartoon.

Nice joint Steve....whens the pool going in ?

The green 'T" is our 17 acres. The red 24 acre plot is still available---BUT, at $44k/4 acres.

Thanks Cathy--- I LOVE horses, but they are expensive and VERY time consuming. You have to be really committed to own horses. Dogs/cats are a cakewalk compared to horses.

Thanks Tony. I doubt we'll do another pool, but time will tell. We do have a number of javelina, coyote, and Roadrunners.

Very cool. I'd like to pick up some acreage around here. Hopefully pick up 20-40 in the next few years. We've already started looking, but I think we're a little short on funds since we plan on keeping our current house too.

That's a nice chunk of land, Steve. Kinda sucks having people to the west and north of your plots though. Limits what you can do there. But hey, at least they are far enough away that they can't complain about the stereo!

You got plans for it aside from just a buffer zone between neighbors?

    Jstas--
We won't fence it or anything, I like the wildlife being able to go through the land. While we can't shoot in 3 canyons, I do have access to shooting about 10 minutes away, so that's cool. We are going to do something with the rocked area just outside of the patio, but not sure yet how exactly we're gonna landscape it. I have a few more maintenance chores I have to complete this summer, but we did get the pellet stove installed to lessen the sting from last winters propane bill (OUCH).

You can shoot the ocassional rattlesnake, but hunting/target shooting isn't permitted on our side of the San Pedro. I go shooting up in Hunter Canyon, which is legal and about 10 minutes away.
