I have just tried to hook up my second surroundbar9000. After hooking it up, it turns on automatically, and I can't control the system from neither the remote or touching the bar controls.

What do you mean can't control it? If you mean the volume, I think you have to turn the tv volume up to max. That will send a strong enough signal to the sound bar. The sound bar has a built in amp, so the tv, after setting to max, will no longer affect volume.

It turns on automatically and sound is working. I just can't control any of the functions such as on/off, volume, source, or the learn button. I've touch all around the areas on the surroundbar and the remote does not respond either

May be a bad battery, I'm sure you pulled the little tab off the battery. Try replacing it, if that doesn't work give customer service a call, those people are great.

I am having the exact same problem. It just started, and now the audio bar is not responding to the remote or touching the front panel. I have no ability to adjust the volume. I've unplugged it, plugged it back in, no luck. Has anyone ever solved this problem?
