2013 NFL Draft... How's your team doing?

I am a Vikings fan so you already know how I'm feeling!
I like the three in the first round decision made by the boys from Winter Park. They filled some gaping holes with some potentially huge talent on both sides of the ball. I am under no illusion they will pan out, because it is a huge step to go from college to the pros, but the Vikings do have a pretty solid track record of drafting the right talent to get the job done. If two of the three become household names, I like our chances in the NFC North. Will that be good enough to take the Lombardi home? I still need to see more than what I did last year, but time will tell.

We got Percy Harvin in the first round."I did not slap you. I high-fived your face."

Texans picked up another safety D.J. Swearinger (#3 safety) that Ed Reed can mentor as we had a weak secondary last year. We also drafted a WR DeAndre Hopkins which should work well with Andre Johnson.
Our "D" will be a beast...look out guys....JJ Watt, Cushing, Smith, Reed, Swearinger
If we can get the fear out of Shaub and become a leader, Texans will be a force this year2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures

My Alma Mater UGA seems to be putting a few players out there. It always makes me feel good to see players you've been following the last several years move on and hopefully do well.

For some reason, I am glad that Manti Te'o and his girlfriend are not in the NFC... First, he misses out on the Heisman to a freshman, then he gets passed over three times by my team alone in the first round. That big Hawaiian is gonna have a Haleakala size chip on his shoulder every time he sees a purple shirt!:eek:The Gear... Still liking the Percy Harvin trade.

Yeah, good luck with that!
He's definitely a game changer and, if healthy, may quite likely be in lots of MVP discussions next season, but his happiness has ALWAYS been very short-lived. He most certainly has more Randy Moss in him than he has Adrian Peterson in him.
Happy so far with what my Vikes have made of the situation. Hopefully, they'll have the balls to sit Ponder in favor of Cassel if need be. -
When you win, people can't help but be happy. Keep winning, baby."I did not slap you. I high-fived your face."

How did we do?? Well, let's see... we seem to have 6 QBs to play with now that they spent a pick on Smith.
I sure hope Izdik knows what he's doing. So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Gee...thanks...the SD Chargers gave him a home for all his baggage.
We'll see how long this lasts....

I saw that... I knew of him several years ago when Ohio State picked him up. Apparently the kid isn't to bright with anything but a football playbook and was dropped from the program for academic reasons. He fell off everybody's radar as a result. I am surprised that nobody else at least gave the kid a look. His dad is going into the hall of fame as one of the greatest to play the game and by the look of his highlight films, he's got some pretty good skills.
I hope Duron can play half as well as his father. If he can, the Vikings just got themselves one hell of a gifted receiver that will be an instant fan favorite to boot. The Gear... I heard Duron can play but has the same attitude that Chris had when he was a young man. I hope he does good. They should give Webb a shot at receiver he needs to be on the field.Home Theater

Joe Webb is the best receiver the Vikings have... they just don't know it yet. If I were Joe Webb, I would be pissed as hell that I have wasted this much time under contract to a team that seems intent on wasting my career like this and DEMAND to be released.
He deserves much better than what he's getting in Minnesota. The Gear... I like the moxy the Dolphins showed in moving up to get Dion Jordan. He's definitely a work in progress, but if he succeeds, Jordan+Wake= absolute hell for opposing QBs.
Jamar Taylor was a strong pick at CB. I honestly think he'll be starting this year, and we looked abysmal at CB at times last year.
Mike Wallace was expensive, but he looks to me like the fastest player in the NFL. Tannehill needed someone to throw long to.
And I'm not worried if we don't trade for Albert. We can still move Martin to LT, and pick up someone like Eric Winston for RT.
I didn't like the kicker at the end of the 5th round, but if he can take Carpenter's spot, that frees up a couple million for an OT addition.
I'd give their draft a solid B, with an amendment to an A if Dion Jordan lives up to his potential.2007 Club Polk Football Pool Champ
