pioneer PD-59 stable platter CD player

Has anybody got any good OR bad info on this player. Currently i used a Sony ES x33 that i completely recapped so I'm just curious how well the Pioneer stacks up both use 1bit dacs from what i can tell.

    Ivan, I have not used that particular Pioneer model CD player. I have have a transport with the same stable platter in it however. It is one of the best transport mechanisms I've seen/used and would recommend it based upond the transport mechanism stable platter). I cannot comment on the DACs, etc. in the player however sorry.

    thanks Headrott but i sure thought I'd get more responses as they were held in high regard or so I thought.

    So what stable platter did you have. I do remember some others using the stable platter but some didn't get it quite right from what i have read. gearing problems.
